:: Some Updates ::

I was very very very busy >>with the stressful office environment (oopssss, i cant say much since im an emotional+unprofesional personel). Wat ever it takes, my Sundays with my 2 sweethearts definitely unstopable + undisturbable (is there such word??)

at around 11 am, azfar fell asleep and so my kitchen starts to smell :) smells good surely! :) I was inspired by a TV show on AFC - it was Food Lovers Guide To Australia. It showed this simple Thai Chicken and so i decided to try the recipe. and yes, it was proven marvelously simple and finger lickin' good! so try one urself.

and on that nite, after a visit to my inlaw's, Ipi, Nun and the 3 of us, went to MyCafe. we tried the new section which was fully air-conditioned. and it was cozy. Azfar cudnt stop looking at those cute dimed lites, the red walls.. :) we enjoyed our dinner!

:: Ayam Padped ::

What you need are:

• 4 Chicken -i chose to use chicken wings
  
• 6 cabai melaka (cili padi)
• 1 large onion (cut into wedges of 4)
• 3 kaffir lime leaves
• 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon of chili sauce (to add colour)
  
• salt to taste
• tumeric powder
• vegetable oil to saute

Step-by-step:

• mix the chicken wings with salt and tumeric
• fry til golden brown
• using a different pan, saute the onions+cabai melaka
• add the kaffir lime leaves, sugar, salt, chili sauce
  
• lastly add the cooked chicken wings and mix well
• SERVE hot with steamed rice!

at exactly 7am, the 3 of us left Kampung Guru and straight to Jalan Kaki Bukit to pick Auntie from her house to join us for a short trip to Thailand! :D we didnt tell Chiak because i and ~j.e.j.a.k.a~ know he will be very very (100x) worried especially since we brought AzfarHazim along. the objective was to get Azfar's birthday gift :) in advanced tu..

baby carried Azfar all the way....since we were so near to the border, so y not..pi jugak la balik sana nu ...no border pass required :)

we are entering Thailand my dear

i bought Mempelam Tongdam (spell as u pronounce) for only RM2.5o/kg. In Pdg Besar, u will haveta pay RM5/kg...double the price!!! we bought tumbler, 4pcs for RM10 (in Pdg Besar, 3pcs 4 RM10), i bought periuk kukus+mengkuang kukus !!yesss.. :)dpt gak something..hehehe

after 2 hours of shopping at Wang Kelian+Thailand, the sun is shining oh so hot! so off we went to Pdg besar pulak. Azfar managed to get a few things-ben10 shirt+pants, ben-10 phone, baju askar..hehehe...and so we had our breakfast at one of the stalls..

:: homemade dadih ::

since ~j.e.j.a.k.a~ loves dadih so much, i decided again to prepare dadih. its easy now since it comes in a pack. all u have to do is add 425ml of milk (i used low fat milk since we both have lots of fats already :D ), 100gm of sugar, 3l of water..n thats was all. i put some in the dadih moulds and some in this cute short glass..serve with a few cubes of nata de coco..serve cold..heaven!!!

PUAN ZAHRAH NAWI

17th March 2009- Zahrah Nawi a.k.a. my bestfriend officially married to one lucky man aidil saifan abu bakar..i was all out for her wedding, trying to cope with her changing-time wedding style..haiyoooo...sabaq saja la...letih gak la...if you want to know, Zarah ni, orang matchmake kan.. :) she was too bz with her work as a teacher and as a master's degree student. within a month of engagement, she is now officialy Puan Zahrah Nawi.

the solemnisation was at around 3pm. but we (nun, diara, nizam & i) there by 1.45pm. she was still 'under construction' by my make-up artist..compliments over compliments she recieved, beautiful dress, gorgeous white dress..hehhe..it was me who got so excited..tgk la sapa designed :D i gave her the pearl necklace to compliment the white dress. the hand bouquet was given by my mom since my parents cant attend her solemnisation. she always wanted to hold lily flowers.. so there goes my friend.

look at the make-up, adoi..lawa kan...the veil and the tudung??? lawa dak? those are mine :)heheheh...

~j.e.j.a.ka~ and i decided to go to Alor Star and through some balls on the lane :) so off we went 2gether with fifi ares, nun, diara and surely our Azfar Hazim :) 2 played 2 games and it was a fun nite! with fifi laughing, make all the gestures when he strikes+loss ..and the winner was..heheh..haku-ko..jgn mare a ipi...hehehehe Azfar slept throughout the journey to AS. we had our supper at the Royal Nasik Lemak..not that i dont recommend but it was not nasik lemak but the regular nasik kandar...
