came to the office with a fuming mind..benda kecik nak diperbesarkan..buhsan!! lecturer mende camtu...

decided to took a day off~~off from the tiring office work. argghh... went to see a doctor yesterday and told me my blood pressure was rather low (but its better low than high) . as expected since i was experiencing the vomiting/giddiness the day before. watashi no danna san was given a 2-MC since he was having fever+sorethroat. pity him.


since i was at home, i tried making his favourite Raya cookies..Biskut Sarang Semut (Ants Nest Biscuits -the direct translation) heheheh..wat a name! I printed out the recipe from kak liza's page..its a very easy to make biscuits and it tastes nice..with such colourful toppings. no wonder my husband likes it so much. tonite I'm trying to bake some savouries. the doctor reminded me to increase my protein intake. so i'll be making mini quiche.. a recipe i made myself a couple of years ago(im not good in making crusts).

BISKUT SARANG SEMUT

Ingredients
250 gm butter
100 gm icing sugar
350 gm plain flour.....] to be sifted
100 gm cornflour......] to be sifted
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Paper cups

Cute toppings
Some chocolate rice
Some colourful 'chocolate rice'


Method
1. Beat the sugar and butter until light n fluffy.
2. Add the egg yolk and vanilla essence.
3. Fold in the flours.
4. Grate the mixture into paper cups.
5. Sprinkle the chocolate rice.
6. Bake at 180c for 15 minutes.
7. Let cool and keep in air tight containers. (made up 152 cups)

::someone is not feeling well.....

Jejaka was and still is not feeling well. we went to check at Klinik Sedhu last nite.. yeap..the tonsil causes the fever+sore throat. luckily, we were the 2nd patient waiting. get well soon koibito-yo and THANK YOU ;)

i managed to cook something he loves.. a recipe from mamafami fotopages. that was the 3rd time i made for him except yesterday he ate just the soup with my mom's homemade kanji(sayang menantu na cikgu dariah)...i love seeing how he slurp the soup. the day before, he requested the same thing and he even help me cutting those mushrooms and veges. sweet ha.. :)

on sunday we went for a lil shopping at The Store Kangar. bought a bar of parmesan cheese.. and yesterday, while waiting for the wok style vege cooking, i made some simple bread pizza... should've taken some photos of those.. sedap gak la..hehehee

the weddding list is over..now its time for our household list pulak..any interior designer out there who wish to help me?

mom told me iddin is coming home.. "balik kampung 'pernis" that is how he pronounce Perlis.. :D cute lil nephew. cant wait to meet him and ilhan...nanti ptg kita pegi pasar ramadhan ye iddin..

BUSY>>students' final exam is coming..busy with the question papers..vetting, school board meeting flipped on the next page, EXCO meeting is waiting in the next room, mesyuarat ahli lembaga pengajian is on the Q (damn!), ICED 2008 adoii

WORK>>i received a letter confirmation status from KUKUM to UniMAP(walhal dah lama pun hal ni)... will rearrange my room 2mrw...by end of this year, the whole office will be moving to Kg Y..penattttnya packing..(how i hate packing n unpacking)

HOME>>our house is yet to be ready..Mak had arranged for someone to fix and renovate some parts of the house..insya Allah, next weekend we'll go shop for some new curtains. we'll have colourful house.. :) home sweet home...

FEEL BETTER>> just feeling better.. :) Ramadhan is here..time to grab all the chances..insya-Allah

:: this and that::

its already the 5th day of Ramadhan Al-Murabak.. as of this year, my Ramadhan is very much different compared to my previous Ramadhans.. :) I now have my Jejaka 2gether with me.

a lot (i really mean a lot) has been going on for the past one month. the wedding, the honeymoon, the trips, puasa 2gether, berbuka 2gether, staying with my in laws and the rest. life is so challenging and im up to it. (gurl power)

....the honeymoon :) the 3 day-2 nite package Jejaka gave me as one of the offerings was SUPERBLY GREAT. we were treated as VIPs..(except for the bad WiFi connection). we started from Platinum Villa, Setapak around 2.30 (at first nak bertolak earlier..) after having lunch my cute lil superhero nephews (pheewsss!!), Jejaka n I started our journey to Impiana Resort & Spa Cherating.. adoii..lama gak la the journey..but its worth the wait..

the 4 post bed..cute haa...plus..they prepared us with a bubble+flower petals bath..heheheh

we really enjoyed ourselves there..lots n lots of photos of our honeymoon stay (wat do u expect traveling with a photographer) :D thanks to the good hospitality given by Impiana Resort & Spa staffs. thanks 4 making our honeymoon such a lovely+unforgettable stay.

we spent 4 days in KL after leaving Cherating. Jejaka managed to get himself another lens (wat else wud he wants). we went shopping here n there via LRT/comuter/on foot..heheheh penat gak la...

..and the nite before leaving KL, we spent a few hundreds at IKEA while paksu+maksu really shopped..we both promised to come back again to get more things for our house once its ready (insya-Allah by November)

Pakeeza Restaurant>>a must visit restaurant in Ipoh..yummylicious tandoori chicken, alogobee with cheese, masala bendi, fish curry...sedapppppppp+aroiiiii

last weekends mak+abah brought the 4 of us, Noon, Diara, Jejaka n I to penang..we stayed at Seri Malaysia Bayan Baru..just a nite there before going to Ipoh. we went to penang..to EAT..bela perut sungguh..dinner at Deen Nasi Kandar, Gelugor(sedappp), ice cream at Haagen Daaz n shopping at Queensbay Mall..bestnya spending the weekends with my parents, my close frens n sure my koibito...so datin sri+datin, nanti kita pekana lagi na aiskrim+nasik kandaq... :D gurls..nak bukak posa where at na..? ;)

later this afternoon...we'll be driving to Penang...yeahhoooooo!! abah+mak+nun+diara and both of us are going..bestnyaaaa

alhamdulillah..the solemnisation ceremony went well (tremendously). the receptions were great although there were hiccups here n there (comments from my relatives). wat to do..we cant change things kan.. tapi still, im so very grateful.

a big thanks to my gurlfrens (Nun+Diara)..without both of u..my wedding ceremonies wont be that great. i cant repay both of u my frens, my sistas...although im a bit far (3.3 km away from home) but that doesnt mean we cant keep in touch or meet or hangout like we used to... saturday is coming ;) luv u both!!

doris came all the way from sandakan.. (thanks so much doris)..hanny came from seremban n my dear fren yayah drove on her own all the way from tmn ehsan kepong (terer gak na hang drive sorang2 jauh).. thank q guys.. those early morning sms..hehehe..really cute !

mak+abah were great hosts as always. the smiles, the greetings even till midnights... domo arigato mak+abah!! (missing the cucuq pisang+tea time) :( im still ur 'adik' forever :D



.....silence is always the best policy..and so i shall be one...Allah knows everything..

time is moving so fast (and so now it seems)..alhamdulillah, there are only a few more items on the checklist which we havent tick ...lega rasanya...

went to padang besar (besaq mana padang tu na.. :D) to get more uncang for his side. and Mak reminded me to get a few kilos of glutinous rice, fragrant rice and some detergent for the kenduri. Noon+Diara+Jejaka+I had some pulut ayam and kueyteow tomyam for lunch. slurrpppppy!!

we went straight to the furniture shop at Jelempok to replace my side table. LOVELY! then we headed to bazaar in Kangar..searching for a pair of capal and songkok. can't find any decent ones... meronda2 kat Kangar with them for a while..

decided to go to Hafifah Frozen since we have nearly 20 items to get for the kenduri and for ourselves :D the car boot was FULLY LOADED( not herbie fully loaded...heheh buat waja fully loaded ;))
